Acting on these complaints, the Election Commission directed immediate action, leading to the suspension of one IPS officer, one SDPO, and three Inspectors-in-Charge.

Moreover, officials have initiated disciplinary proceedings against the accused officers. The Election Commission found that they failed to maintain neutrality on polling day and, therefore, took strict action against them. As a result, the authorities moved forward with suspension and further inquiry into their conduct.
