IndiGo Marks First Landing and Inaugural Flight from Jewar Airport

The Noida International Airport has formally launched its flights from Uttar Pradesh.
This is an important greenfield aviation project and is located in Jewar.
First Indigo Flight took off for the launch flight operation.
The first flight was from Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport.
It arrived at Noida International Airport at about 7:58 in the morning.
After a short while, another plane flew away from Jewar on its inaugural flight.
The residents of Jewar were also included in the inaugural flight operation.
They were offered to take a special flight to Lucknow airport.
The people who participated were from land acquisition for the airport project.
According to the officials, the project marks a major infrastructural achievement for the state of Uttar Pradesh.
It is going to enhance connectivity and stimulate economic growth in the region.
The airbase is set to be one of the largest in North India in terms of operations.
Furthermore, a delegation headed by Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh visited Lucknow as well.
They were planning to meet the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath.
