AP Singh Highlights Operation Sindoor’s Strategic Success
IAF precision strikes
Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh has sent a clear message.
That there is no target that cannot be hit by the IAF.
Said Operation Sindoor showed how capable the country’s armed forces are.
“We carried out some very precise attacks in that area (western border) with an operation area of around 1200 km. ]
We also hit areas 200 km into enemy territory,” Singh said in an interview.
“India must continue to upgrade its military.
We need to make sure we have strong capabilities and that we are able to move quickly.
Our enemies can change strategies so we need to be able to flex our military accordingly.
We need to be able to have multiple options available.”
Operation Sindoor was launched in May 2025 after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
Indian forces attacked what they say were terrorist facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied territories.
Singh also complimented some home-grown weapons.
“It showed us that we have the right strategy in place with our military.
We will continue to improve our capabilities within the IAF.
We want to be as quick and decisive as possible when needed.”
