YouTube controversy
A fresh controversy has erupted involving YouTuber Dhruv Rathee’s video.
The controversy revolves around the video entitled “Can Hindus Eat Beef?”
The petition raised an objection against certain remarks in the video.
The remarks in question relate to Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, and Lord Krishna.
In this regard, the petitioner moved the case to the Delhi High Court.
The petition claims that the video comprises remarks which are offensive for the beliefs of Hindus and their respective gods.
Consequently, the request made by the petition was that the court should remove the video.
This petition also asked for proper legal action in the matter.
At the same time, the Delhi High Court asked for replies from the relevant parties.
But the court did not pass an order on the removal of the video.
Similarly, the court has not yet made a verdict in favor of Dhruv Rathee.
This issue will be looked into during the next hearing.
In the meantime, there has been an intense discussion on social media platforms following the video.
While some of the people on social media backed up the views of Dhruv Rathee,
others accused the video of causing offense to religious sentiments.
Also, the claims made by the individuals in the video have been contested by other viewers.
The issue is now sub judice.
Consequently, all eyes are on the judgment of the court.
However, no comment has yet been made by the court on the claims made in the video.
