According to US officials, the network was supporting the civil wars in Sudan.

US Office of Foreign Assets Control made the sanctions announcement.

Additionally, US Department of State made an explanation about the sanctions imposition.

They claim that the network helped both Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces.

According to officials, the network provided arms, explosives and mercenaries from outside.

Consequently, the wars have escalated in Sudan.

US officials say that the activities contributed to the humanitarian problem in the country.

In addition, the activities provided grounds for terrorist organizations.

Sanctions have been imposed on Indian firm SBL Energy Limited.

In addition, the company is called Ameem Explosives Private Limited.

The CEO of this company, Alok Chaudhary, is also facing sanctions.

As per the US Treasury Department, SBL Energy delivered more than 200 explosive-related products.

These deliveries were meant for the Target Multi Activities Company located in Sudan.

Moreover, they argued that this company used these items for making bombs.

Sanctions were also imposed on firms operating from Sudan and Egypt.

Further, the General Manager of Target Multi Activities Company, Tariq Hussein Mohammed Madani, was also included in the blacklist.

Madani is an executive in the Defense Industries Systems (DIS).

This firm deals with ammunition, military vehicles, and defense equipment for Sudan’s armed forces.

It was alleged by the US authorities that Iran and some other outside countries had provided these military supplies.
