Soumitra Khan Alleges MLAs and MPs Ready to Quit TMC

According to the BJP MP, Soumitra Khan, there are many members of the Trinamool Congress. Who are very unhappy with the leadership of their party, and he believes there are at least 50 MLAs . And about 20 MPs that are dissatisfied. Soumitra Khan claims that there are many members of the TMC . That the BJP is in contact with who are unhappy with the TMC’s leadership. And, according to Soumitra Khan, the TMC will not matter politically in the event that an unknown number of people leave the party. Soumitra Khan also made a specific attack on Abhishek Banerjee as he spoke publicly. He accused Abhishek Banerjee of attacking BJP members during the elections in 2021 . And accused the TMC of using political retribution against those that supported the opposition. However, the TMC Member of Parliament Saugata Roy completely rejected all of these claims, calling them “absolutely false” and politically motivated. According to Roy, no MLAs of the TMC will be leaving the party.
These events escalated after a meeting held in November of this year with several TMC politicians and the BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. As a result, there has been speculation from some political observers regarding a possible division within the TMC. In addition, there has also been the recent removal of MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar from her position as the TMC’s chief whip and the granting of Y-category security by the central government to Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, increased the level of speculation regarding the TMC. Several politicians have indicated that these events could create a change in the political scene in West Bengal, but TMC leaders continue to deny all of these allegations.
