Iranian official says 3Tehran hospitals faced attacks after Khamenei was wounded
Iran Supreme Leader
Mojtaba Khamenei has been recently accused by an Iranian cleric.
Heydari is a member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts.
Heydari stated that Khamenei was injured during the February 28 strikes.
After that, he was moved to a hospital in Tehran.
Heydari also mentioned three Tehran hospitals that were subsequently attacked.
He claimed that Khamenei was present in the third hospital during the strike.
According to Heydari, Khamenei was saved alive from the debris by rescuers.
Heydari gave this information in an interview with Qatar-based Al Araby.
Then, Khamenei was moved to an unknown place.
At the moment, his condition is still subject to contradictory reports.
It has already been noted that US President Donald Trump referred to his wounds as serious.
However, the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has presented another version.
Pezeshkian stated that he had met Khamenei on several occasions.
Heydari also talked about Khamenei’s appointment as the Supreme Leader of Iran.
He reported that 50 out of 59 assemblymen were in favor of Khamenei.
Eight assemblymen were reportedly supporting Ayatollah Alireza Arafi.
It was also reported that one of the assemblymen did not vote.
The information about the strikes in hospitals is not verified.
