Assam schools campaign
The CJP co-founder, Ashutosh Ranka, has been arrested in Guwahati.
Members of his team were also arrested by the police.
The arrest was made prior to the schedule of meetings.
He had initiated a campaign on government schools in Assam.
He was also going to conduct discussions on the Special Intensive Revision.
As per him, members of his team would be visiting government schools.
They would also hold meetings with people affected by SIR.
Further, he wanted to meet some local activists.
After his arrest, he attacked Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
He stated that the government was scared of the exposure of the schools.
Further, he also mentioned the issue of Kaziranga.
He said that people there have lost their lands and forests.
It must be noted that such allegations have not been proven in this report.
It is because he had reached Assam on September 26.
