Party demands Supreme Court-monitored investigation into donation fraud allegations

On Sunday, the Congress launched a fierce attack on the BJP and the RSS.
The party made charges about the donation for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Jairam Ramesh of Congress General Secretary said that the politics of the BJP is based on “vote theft, seat theft, and donation theft.”
Also, Congress said that there were irregularities regarding donations for the temples.
Congress said that devotees had made thousands of crores of donations for the Ram Temple.
But according to Congress, these donations had been stolen.
Moreover, Congress also asked why the Prime Minister and the Home Minister are silent.
Besides, Congress asked for an investigation under the supervision of the Supreme Court.
This supervision should be carried out by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, this issue became more serious after the preliminary report of the special investigation team of Uttar Pradesh Government.
Following this, an FIR was lodged on the basis of the complaint.
Eight people have been arrested by the police thus far.
They were able to seize close to ₹80 lakhs in cash from the accused.
Foreign money was also seized from the accused by the police.
On the other hand, investigations are still underway.
The accusations have led to new political controversy throughout the country.
However, these are purely political allegations.
Investigations have not been completed yet.
No court has ruled about criminal responsibility in this regard till now.
