Trump India remark

A political storm has erupted after Donald Trump allegedly described India as “hell,”. Consequently, Mallikarjun Kharge has demanded an immediate response from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Firstly, the controversial remark has stirred widespread outrage across Indian politics. In response, the Congress party has directly attacked the central government. Moreover, Kharge has strongly criticized the Prime Minister’s silence on the issue. He has also rejected the brief reaction issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, calling it both inadequate and disrespectful to Indians. Therefore, he has insisted that the Prime Minister must firmly respond to any insult directed at the nation.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Trump shared a post on his social media platform, where he referred to India in an offensive manner. As a result, Kharge highlighted the contrast by recalling that Prime Minister Modi had earlier hosted grand events like “Namaste Trump” to honor him. However, he noted that the Prime Minister has now remained silent despite such derogatory remarks.
Furthermore, Kharge has raised a pointed question in a sarcastic tone: “Modi ji, your close friend is using extremely insulting language against India, yet you remain completely silent.”
On the other hand, the Iranian Embassy in India has taken a different approach. It has advised Trump to visit India and experience its rich cultural heritage. According to Iran, such a visit could help remove negativity from his mindset. In addition, it described the idea as a “one-way cultural detox” journey that could positively transform his perspective.
