Several social media profiles have been accused in Nagpur Cyber Police.

The reason behind this is the alleged misleading posts on E20 ethanol-petrol blend.

These posts had allegedly targeted Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

It started from a post published by YouTuber Manish Kashyap on July 3.

Other social media handles such as Desi Boyz, Harshit Rathi, and Anklesh Inwati have been booked too.

The BJP social media desk objected to this move and complained about the matter.

After that, some cases have been filed against them under BNS and IT Act by police.

However, Manish Kashyap has defended his claims.

He claimed that the government wanted to silence his voice.

The matter got worse when AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal raised questions regarding E20 fuel.

He wrote to the Prime Minister.

He alleged that E20 petrol caused mileage problems and engine damage.

Moreover, he encouraged everyone to share their feedback using videos.

Previously, Sourav Joshi, an established vlogger, had posted a video that went viral.

Initially, he accused E20 petrol of causing him mileage problems with his Mercedes car.

But the Indian company of Mercedes-Benz tested the car.

They found an engine problem in his car.

It was clarified by the company that E20 petrol was not the cause of the mileage problem.

Sourav Joshi later apologized publicly.
