MP Absence Fuels Defections Talk
The state’s politics was marked by new turn after important meeting of UBT of Shiv Sena.
Uddhav Thackeray convened a special meeting at Matoshree in Mumbai.
The meeting revolved around political situation and parliamentary strategy.
Presently, the party has nine MPs in Lok Sabha.
But only four MPs turned up for the meeting.
Their absence has immediately sparked defection talk in politics.
This turn in politics is considered related to Operation Tiger talks.
Uddhav Sends a Clear Message
According to sources, Uddhav has asked all party MPs in Delhi to come to Mumbai immediately.
Four MPs attended the meet.
The absence of five MPs made the party leadership unhappy.
In the discussion, it is said that Uddhav was not pleased with the situation.
He told the leaders that they are free to quit the party.
He added that political situations can suddenly change.
Uddhav said that they will definitely regret leaving the party.
Growing Internal Troubles
The latest move has further raised concerns in Shiv Sena UBT.
There have been several troubles after the breakaway faction led by Eknath Shinde.
Several leaders and MLAs have left the party since.
This latest absence has brought back the threat of political realignments.
Opposition And Ruling Alliance On Their Toes
All political parties in Maharashtra are keeping an eye on the developments.
The ruling alliance continues to work hard towards cementing their position.
On the other hand, UBT Shiv Sena leaders are making efforts to stay united.
No decision on any action to be taken by the party has been made till date.
The next few weeks will be important for politics in Maharashtra.
