Supporters of Oli have carried out intense protests in Nepal in opposition to the arrest of former Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli.

The supporters have carried out protests in opposition to the arrest of Nepal’s former Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli. Party members of Oli have been spotted protesting in different locations in Nepal. In order to release Oli, supporters of Oli’s party have initiated a signature campaign in 70 districts. As Oli’s health condition is not good, Oli will not be presented in court today. News has been received that documents will be presented in court on Oli’s behalf.

Former Prime Minister of Nepal K. P. Sharma Oli was arrested due to the violence that took place in Nepal in the Gen-Z protests that took place in Nepal last year. CPN-UML Chairman K. P. Sharma Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak were arrested on Saturday morning. They were held responsible for the death of 76 people due to the Gen-Z movement that took place in Nepal while Oli was in power.
