Data centre deal is being considered by Russia and the US.
According to the plan, nuclear power would be utilized to generate the increasing amount of electricity.
It was disclosed by Kirill Dmitriev, the investment envoy for Russia. His disclosure came during an energy conference held in Russia on 16th October.
Electricity can be obtained from Russian nuclear power stations as well as small modular reactors in the plan.
On the other hand, increased usage of artificial intelligence is boosting the need for data centres.
However, neither country has made any final deal regarding it.
Moreover, the sanctions of the US against Russia will make it difficult for them to cooperate.
Still, more economic deals are expected to be announced by Dmitriev.
At the same time, President Donald Trump relaxed some of the regulations imposed on Russia.
The relaxation of the rules has been justified because of America’s national interest.
There was also a reported deal on diesel.
However, the Ukraine conflict and political tension continue to pose obstacles.
