Voting Begins Across Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry
There is voting going on in Assam, Kerala, and Union Territory of Puducherry as citizens are exercising their democratic rights. Since morning hours, people have lined up at various polling stations with great enthusiasm to vote for their respective candidates..In Assam, there has been an orderly conduct of polling at all 126 polling stations in the state. By 11 AM, 38.92% people had voted in the state. The booths were well arranged and people were guided effectively by the voting staff to ensure safety.
In the meantime, in Kerala, people are voting for 140 assembly seats. At the rate of 32.78%, voters have shown up and lined up orderly at the booths by 11 AM.
Also in Puducherry, polling for 30 assembly seats is being conducted. There has been a turnout of 37% till 11 AM. Many citizens have queued up in order at the polling booths.
Voting started at 7 AM and ends at 6 PM, giving all citizens the opportunity to vote. It is seen that the process is going on smoothly and without any problem as authorities have stated.
