He requested to solve the controversy.
The party called the SIR exercise in Andhra Pradesh a success.
But it added that an ECI clarification on the matter would help.
The controversy has sparked political discussion.
Opposition parties too have asked questions about the same.
The ECI has earlier insisted that the SIR decisions were taken following its decision-making process.
