Donald Trump left for China and made strong remarks on the Iran conflict before departure. He said the United States does not need help from Chinese President Xi Jinping to handle the situation. Trump added that America would resolve the issue “by any means” and claimed the country would emerge victorious.

During the visit, Trump will discuss several global issues with Xi Jinping, including Iran, trade, and international security. However, he downplayed concerns over China’s role in the Iran matter and described the situation as manageable. He also expressed confidence about the upcoming talks and said both leaders were looking forward to the meeting.

This marks Trump’s first China visit since 2017. According to the White House, Melania Trump will not join the delegation. Instead, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Eric Trump, and Lara Trump are accompanying him. Business leaders Elon Musk and Tim Cook are also part of the team.

Meanwhile, Trump claimed that American actions had weakened Iran’s military strength. He stressed that Iran would never possess nuclear weapons and said the blockade against the country remained highly effective. In addition, Trump voiced hope for an end to the Russia-Ukraine war and referred to recent remarks by Vladimir Putin about a possible settlement.
