Deputy CM Is urging support for women’s 33% reservation while leaders and achievers are joining the event
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida is attending and addressing the Nari Shakti Vandan Sammelan at the Railway Auditorium in Bhubaneswar today.
She is highlighting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is consistently strengthening women’s dignity, rights, leadership, and representation since 2014, and she is saying these efforts are now reaching a significant milestone.
She is urging the people of Odisha, across party lines, to support the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, which is granting 33% reservation to women in Parliament and State Assemblies.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Speaker Surama Padhy, and other dignitaries are participating in the event. Distinguished personalities like Pratibha Ray, Aruna Mohanty, and Olympian Anuradha Biswal are also attending the programme along with many inspiring women from different fields.
