Political uncertainty has returned to Karnataka after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s sudden visit to Delhi. Congress leaders are expected to discuss cabinet expansion and leadership arrangements amid growing demands for a power-sharing transition involving Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar.
Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay expanded the Tamil Nadu cabinet by inducting 23 new ministers. The new team includes 21 TVK MLAs and two Congress legislators, taking the cabinet strength to 33 members.
Manmohan Samal announced that the government will soon finalize Corporation Board appointments. He added that most pending work will be completed before the two-year mark on June 12.
