Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in New Zealand on Friday.

This is the concluding stop in his diplomatic tour of three countries.

Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Luxon received Modi at the airport.

The two exchanged pleasantries on arrival.

In his two-day visit, Modi will meet the Prime Minister of New Zealand.

Trade and economic cooperation are some of the topics that will be discussed.

Bilateral relations will also be one of the issues of discussion.

Furthermore, Modi will address the Indian community in New Zealand.

Additionally, the visit helps India fulfill its Act East policy.

The visit also strengthens the Indian strategy of the Indo-Pacific region.

Previously, Modi had gone to Australia for bilateral talks at the highest level.

Modi met with the Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese.

The two countries signed an important agreement on civil nuclear energy.

The purpose of the agreement is to provide uranium to India.

India and Australia have also agreed to improve maritime cooperation.

Before visiting Australia, Modi had paid a visit to Indonesia.

India and Indonesia signed 14 agreements.

These agreements related to maritime security and critical minerals.

Lastly, the visit to New Zealand ends Modi’s three nation tour successfully.
