Officials Assigned to 3 Chariots for Safe Rath Yatra Operations

Director and technical teams have been appointed for Rath Yatra and Bahuda Yatra by the administration of Puri.
These teams will control the three chariots on both occasions.
S.P. Prateek Singh is to be in charge of the Taladhwaja chariot.
On the other hand, Collector Divyajyoti Parida is in charge of the Nandighosha chariot.
In addition, Addl. District Magistrate Sharata Chandra Behera is in charge of the Darpadalana (Devadalana) chariot.
The director team of the Taladhwaja chariot comprises of 11 members.
Its technical team consists of 4 members.
The director team of the Darpadalana chariot consists of 12 members.
Its technical team also consists of 4 members.
Moreover, the director team of the Nandighosha chariot consists of 13 members.
Its technical team consists of 4 members as well.
They will coordinate the smooth transportation of the chariots.
According to traditional beliefs, the number of servitors that will attend Taladhwaja and Darpadalana will be 25 in each case belonging to Maharana.
Two Rupakara servitors will be there in each chariot.
In addition to it, 25 Bhoi servitors will be there for serving both the chariots.
On the other hand, 27 Maharana servitors will attend Nandighosha chariot.
Three Rupakara servitors will also be present there.
Moreover, 26 Bhoi servitors will also be present on duty.
They will act accordingly in case of any emergency.
In addition to it, Ghantua servitors belonging to Puri and Bhattamunda will ring bells for the ceremony.
They will keep pace with the rhythm without causing any hindrance to the gods.
