Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the chief of Bageshwar Dham, responded to the Ayodhya Ram Temple Donation Case.

The issue was raised by him when he was delivering speech at Shri Hanuman Katha in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Shastri was quite emotional on discussing the alleged case of theft.

He informed that Ravana had kidnapped only Mata Janaki but now people who are accused of stealing donations have stolen the faith of millions of people.

In addition to it, he referred the accused people to be modern day ravans.

He further informed that only appearance of people had changed.

Shastri informed that donation box symbolized the faith of devotees.

He mentioned that faith of people has been hurt because of this act of theft.

On the other hand, he mentioned that FIR had already been filed against these people.

In addition to the above, he added that more people could be traced through the investigation process.

Shastri mentioned how Ravana met his destruction by kidnapping Mata Janaki.

In like manner, he noted how the accused would be punished through the law.

He added that they would also receive their divine punishment.

According to officials, the police had arrested eight people.

The investigators have reasons to think that more people could be involved.

On the recommendations of the Special Investigation Team (SIT), police filed an FIR.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has filed the case.

The FIR has made the police to investigate further.

The arrested people are; Ramashankar Yadav Tinu, Anukalp Mishra, Abhinash Shukla, Karunesh Pandey, Lavkush Mishra, Ramashankar Mishra, Subhash Srivastava, and Manish Yadav.

Police have released the names of the people whose donation money was allegedly taken.
