Major Push to Infrastructure Development, Education, and Public Welfare in Nimapada-Gop Constituency
In a major boost to rural development, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on March 27, 2026, laid the foundation stone of 112 development projects at the Gop Panchayat Samiti Office.
The projects, which are collectively worth ₹6.86 crore, are expected to boost infrastructure development, transportation facilities, and educational institutions in the region.
As part of the development projects, community centers are being built at several Panchayats. In addition to this, several religious institutions are also being developed under the projects.
These projects are likely to boost growth in the Nimapada-Gop constituency.
During the event, the Deputy Chief Minister also inaugurated a clean and chilled drinking water facility. It is expected to provide better facilities to visitors and residents at the Panchayat Samiti office.
She stated that the project would play a major role in meeting the drinking water needs of the people coming from different places.
