The notice was served to his wife, son, and parents.
It was served amid the voter roll revision process of Delhi.
They were categorized as “Unmapped with Last SIR.”
The five people belong to records of New Delhi constituency.
They are some of the 110 voters getting notices in Part-51.
It lies within New Delhi Assembly Constituency 40.
The classification pertains to those voters not connected to previous SIRs.
The officials conduct the process to check their election credentials.
Incomplete enumeration forms were cited by New Delhi ERO.
AAP has challenged the notice issuing procedure of the Election Commission.
Questions were raised by the political party regarding the voter list of the family.
However, the notice does not prove anything other than being an electoral verification process.
About 33 lakh voters from Delhi have received such notices.
The notices have been issued for mapping lapses and logical errors.
SIR process has now become a case before the Supreme Court as well.
A plea related to it would be heard in Supreme Court on September 22.
