IndiGo aircraft hits VDGS pole while parking at Srinagar Airport

All Passengers and Crew Escape Unhurt in Airport Incident

The IndiGo plane has collided with the Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) pole while parking at the Srinagar airport on Friday.

The aircraft landed from Navi Mumbai. However, none of the passengers and crew members were harmed.

IndiGo stated that flight 6E225 was approaching bay 06 at around 9:02 am when the accident occurred. The plane collided with the VDGS pole during the approach to the parking bay.

After the accident, all passengers were evacuated using manual stairs by airport officials. There were no injuries among any passengers or crew members.

As per the IndiGo officials, all people aboard the plane are safe. The carrier also mentioned that the matter is being investigated to find out the reason for the collision.

For now, the plane needs to be checked after the accident. The real reason will be known after the investigations are done.

Thus, the accident will be thoroughly investigated by the officials to know the situation.
