35-year-old biker dies after tree collapses during heavy rain in Thane

Another incident of unfortunate death occurred due to heavy rain in Thane district of Maharashtra.

A large coconut tree fell on a moving motorbike in Rai village of Mira-Bhayandar.

As a consequence, Rahul Ashok Patil, aged 35 years, sustained serious injuries.

Rahul lived at Murdhagaon.

He was the son of Ashok Patil, former Deputy Mayor of Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Council.

The incident took place on Wednesday evening in Sadanand Nagar.

While driving his motorbike, Rahul was struck by the falling tree.

Instantly, the villagers rushed to save him.

He was moved to the ICU of a nearby hospital.

But Rahul struggled to survive for two days.

Finally, he died of his injuries on Friday.

However, accidents related to rains continue to cause concern in the state of Maharashtra.

In the same week, another incident took place in Mumbai’s Chembur locality.

A tree fell on the moving school bus due to rain.

As a result, eleven-year-old Vihan Srivastava lost his life.

There were four other students who got injured.

Likewise, another fatal incident happened on Thursday.

Rain caused flood in Khairani Road, Mumbai.

Aslam Isaf Sheikh, aged 55, did not see the open manhole underneath the rainwater.

He fell into the manhole and got swept away by the strong current.

Overall, it can be said that rains are causing more problems in Maharashtra.
