The event where they all took their oaths happened in Guwahati. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and many other important NDA leaders were there.

After winning the election, Himanta had mentioned that his first time in office was just a “trailer.” He said Assam would now see the “full picture” of progress and big changes.

During the big ceremony at Khanapara in Guwahati, Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya swore in Himanta and the new group of ministers.

So, the Bharatiya Janata Party has officially started its third term in a row in the state. At the ceremony, some BJP leaders, Ajanta Neog and Rameswar Teli, along with AGP chief Atul Bora and BPF leader Charan Boro, were sworn in as ministers.
