After that, Nitish will return to Patna after taking oath on Friday. Then, he is likely to hold a cabinet meeting on April 13 and resign from his post on April 14.

Meanwhile, the state government is preparing to organize the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister on April 15 at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. At the same time, discussions are intensifying that Nitish’s son, Nishant Kumar, may receive the post of Deputy Chief Minister in the new government.

Furthermore, as the largest party in the Legislative Assembly, the BJP is preparing to lead the government. In this context, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha have emerged as the leading contenders for the Chief Minister’s post. Additionally, party leaders are also considering names such as Union Minister Nityanand Rai, Sanjeev Chaurasia, Nitish Mishra, Dilip Jaiswal, and senior leader Ramkripal Yadav.

Finally, the NDA legislative party will make the final decision on the new leader during its meeting on April 14.
