A scuffle has been reported between MLAs in the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly after a heated argument between Congress and BJP members.
Congress MLA Irfan Hafiz Lone and BJP MLA Yudhvir Sethi exchanged a fierce argument. Later, Congress MLAs started raising slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Reacting to this, BJP MLA Yudhvir Sethi made a controversial statement by referring to Rahul Gandhi as a “pappu.”
The situation became uncontrollable and almost turned into a fight between legislators. In this context, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the Assembly for some time.
In recent days, the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly has witnessed many unruly scenes. There have been frequent confrontations between the ruling and opposition parties over different issues.
